We went to Heibronner for dinner on September 4th, 2020. So far we have always been extremely satisfied with the fish dishes that have been prepared. We always ate at Heilbronner's when we were in Ulm. But the meal on September 4th. was miserable. The pikeperch was not seasoned at all, the plain calamari were also without seasoning and tough as rubber. In response to our complaint, the waitress informed us that the host's brother was preparing the meal today because the host was on vacation. Obviously other guests also complained. I don't accept that as an excuse, the guest expects consistent quality. In the near future we will go to another restaurant.

Unfortunately, I have to join Mr Atze Ping's recession in terms of the sales counter. What I am now describing happened this Saturday morning. And in advance. I think it's not exactly cowardly not to say anything in the store. It should not be reprimanded in front of directly present customers. And apart from that there is the possibility of recessions on Google, Facebook etc. Apart from the fact that I love to buy fish here, I was quite shocked when I went shopping today ... 625 years of experience are all well and good, but this long experience should also include experience with the subject of cleanliness. My herring pickled in oil was placed in the plastic bag with my bare hands. That is ok if you would wash the oil off your fingers when you continue packing. But this was not so. The fish was then wrapped in paper with the fat fingers and the second plastic bag around it was also lubricated. And as if it wasn't enough that my shopping bag and other purchases were scented with fish, the payment process was also done with fish-scented fingers, so that I will benefit from the 625 years of experience in my wallet for a long time to come ... ...... so cleaning your hands between work steps, especially before cashing in, has to this case did not take place.

Gloves are not worn. While cashing in and packing fresh fish, it all works without having to wash your hands. Very disgusting considering how dirty money is. Good Appetite.

Fresh and best fish in town! Delicious salads and the potato salad is excellent! Friendly service. For this, one can bear to call out the numbers of the service staff. A family company with tradition and future. My colleague from Norway described it like this: "It tastes like home!".

Very good central location and always delicious menu choices, my most liked place to grab a bite. The personnel had been constantly readily available to listen to our requests. My very little sis and I were really fulfilled with all the top quality ingredients that are regionally sourced, everything tasted genuinely fresh. Nice portion sizes especially taking into consideration the price. We had been shown to our table immediately without waiting around.

Today a delicious fish soup, an excellent mixed fish plate with a super mixed salad plate and a dark Kellerbier the brewery gold oxen> outstanding! The service or the staff> very friendly and helpful! Two fish sandwiches taken and eaten during the day in Ulm> excellent! Conclusion: I can fully recommend this traditional fish restaurant in the heart of Ulm!

The "Fischheilbronner" is an old traditional house. Here are the best, fresh fish and seafood for a reasonable price on the plate.

I found the bid particularly appealing. The restaurant is indeed very aesthetically furnished. Not a cheap decoration, instead it was a lot of color pretty nicely adapted to each other. The staff was fix, well-kept and friendly. We were both there together and each one of us ordered something else - on my part I can say that I tasted a little of each and it was really good.

The best place to go in Ulm if you want to eat simple, but excellent quality fish dishes. Very good price-performance ratio, the freshest products that can also be bought directly from the counter as raw goods. The staff is incredibly friendly and there is a cozy atmosphere. In summer you can also eat outside in front of the restaurant. A must for every fish lover.

We had very nice weather, and found a place in front of the restaurant. Food must be ordered and will be brought to the table. Quality was fine for the quantity and the price.

Really awesome fish here! Tried the swordfish and the tuna and they are really good. Bouncy texture and flavourful meat. The crab soup is good too. Take note that they do not accept foreign credit cards.

Living in Ulm about 2 years. My favourite restaurant so far. Quality and freshness of the fishes are always good. Portions are decent. Mixed salad they bring is so good. Many of the staff speaks English. They are fantastic people. Always trying to help as much as they can. Credit and debit cards are accepted. Definitely give a try; Crab soup Sepia (a type of calamari, squids) (grilled) Rotbarschfilet (rose fish, norway haddock) (grilled or baked) Zanderfillet (tall bass?) (grilled) Edelfischteller (a mixture of many fishes)

Best fish in town

Very good fish dishes and cheap price. Everything is prepared in house. Way better than more expensive fish restaurants in Ulm. A must have if you are in this beautiful city and you like fish.
